What is #Little-Beauties?

We're all about macro and close up photography. So what is Macro? Macro photography is defined as an image projected on the "film plane" being close to the same size as the subject. True macro should have a ratio of 1:1 or greater, and most macro modes on cameras are not actually true macro.

Joining

Anyone is welcome to join and enjoy the beautiful macro photography requests are automatically approved.

Submission

You can submit up to 3 pieces per week
Please try to submit to the correct gallery
Added textures (fake bokeh etc) and other photomanipulations are not accepted
A photograph does not have to be 'true' macro but it must at least be a close up and not a subject in full
Photos should be of good quality with a crisp clear focus, no noise and decent compostion.

If your photo isn't accepted, please don't let that put you off, it just may not be what we're looking for in the group. The group does have a fairly high standard of submission but that just means you should be all the happier when something is accepted . You're free to try submitting another piece if one doesn't get through
